  • Check for Tampering: Ensure that the packaging is intact and has not been tampered with during transit.

2. Check for Damage

  • Visible Damage: If you notice any visible damage to the product itself or if the packaging is severely damaged, refuse the delivery and notify the delivery driver of the damage.
  • Hidden Damage: If the packaging appears intact, proceed to open the box and inspect the product for any hidden damage that may have occurred during shipping.

3. Document Any Issues

  • Photographic Evidence: If you discover any damage (visible or hidden), take clear photos of the damage, including both the product and the packaging. This will be useful for filing a claim.
  • Note on Delivery Receipt: If possible, make a note of any damage on the delivery receipt before signing it. Include a brief description of the damage.

4. Report Issues Promptly

  • Contact Us Immediately: If you encounter any issues or discover damage after delivery, please contact our customer service team within 48 hours. Provide the photos and a detailed description of the damage so we can assist you promptly.
  • Keep Packaging: Retain all original packaging materials and the damaged product until the issue is resolved, as they may be needed for a return or claim process.

5. For Freight Shipments

  • Inspect Before Signing: For large or heavy items delivered via freight, it is crucial to inspect the item thoroughly before signing the delivery receipt.
  • Signature: Do not sign the delivery receipt until you are fully satisfied with the condition of the product. If the driver does not allow for an inspection, note “Subject to Inspection” on the receipt.
